Here I would like to give some peeps their props. I mean, I would like to give credit where credit is due. There are countless talented folks out there that provide other talented folks with tools to use during the creative process, or to help present thier wares to the internet public. The peeps I speak of are shareware and freeware authors. Most are hobbyists or up-and-coming commercial programmers. Though I CAN take credit for the images presented here, I would like to have you notice others who have assisted in their display, unwittingly though very much appreciated.

The larger companies, who market some very powerful tools, are also appreciated. Their products make the digital medium as endlessly flexible as any other, more conventional, art form. Though here I would present to you the guys and gals of the next generation of software developers. Thank you for your assistance!

You may also find here other resources, such as links to fantastic tutorials, other photographers projects, or just about anything that catches my fancy. Enjoy!

The film effect, at left, was achieved with a Photoshop® action called BBfilmstripII, by Panos Efstathiadis. The action includes four variations, combining concave or convex with text lables at top and bottom (as at left), or without text. Also included are sepia and negative effects, for even more realism. This action can be downloaded, free of charge, from the PanosFX homepage by clicking on the film strip.

JAlbum Homepage
My web galleries are presented with an exceptional, and free, web album generator called JAlbum, written by David Ekholm. The visual possibilities are incredibly customizable, as the program is skin supported. JAlbum "ships" with a large number of skins, or styles, and supports user skins as well. The skin that I have chosen to use, BananAlbum, written by Rudin Swagerman, is available from BananAlbum.com. Click the handsome frog to learn more and to download JAlbum for your own site.

I have chosen WordPress as my Journal software and Julien De Luca's Freshy theme. Actually, I have borrowed some of the theme elements in modeling this site in general. I liked the glossy black of the menu bar and the shadows separating the pages from the neutral background. That background, coincidentally matched my Galleries. Sweet!
DynamicDrive.com
